So the good/amazing - our room was on the 56floor and the view was perfect day or night Vegas always gives you a fab view. This was our second visit to the Elara and we weren't disappointed - well not by the hotel anyway. My child was very upset and there is not much they can do. However, she/he was not careful and took my child's favorite stuffed animal - it could have gotten wrapped up in the bedsheets and blankets to be washed. There is only 1 detergent for dish washer and 1 for laundry machine, but housekeeping gave us more later, which was nice. They will not clean your room unless you make a specific request. The housekeeping button at the door does nothing, as they do not look at it or monitor it. And about 30% of the pool is very shallow - only about 8" high.

Pros: - Great location that connects to Miracle Mile mall with lots of food options - Easy walk to Cosmopolitan hotel, Walgreens, and Car rental - Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable - we had the 2BR suites with full kitchen - Great views of the strip - Elevators were quick and never had to wait (for those staying in Floors 30+) - Very quiet in our room where we didn't hear our neighbors at all - this is something we're not used to at Vegas hotels - Uber pick-up and drop-off area is very easy and not busy at all - other hotels we've been to are zoos Cons: - Hotel is way understaffed during check in/out hours - F1 racing Roadwork on Harmon Ave in front of the hotel made it hell getting in and out of the hotel - fortunately this was only the first couple of days - Pool was rather small and got crowded. If that's the case, then they're dedicating more resources to selling timeshares than serving current guests staying at their hotel. I did notice there were at least 2 people serving timeshare owners and about 4 people sitting around/standing around, doing nothing - possibly those are the sales team for timeshare sales. After voicing our complaints, the manager was able expedite the process and find us 2 rooms. We had to insist to speak with the Manager. The frontdesk said that she already checked with the manager and there was nothing she can do. There was no ETA as to when our rooms would be ready either and we were told that we have to wait at the end of the line again in order to get the room keys whenever it became ready. But then we learn that our rooms were not ready at 5pm due to housekeeping being behind schedule.
